The Snowbirds!

 

"The Snowbirds" is a new animated cartoon concept that hopes to take its place next to "Bob's Burgers", "The Great North" and other animated comedies. It's a fresh, bold and hilarious look at family's adjustment to retirement life.

 

Premise: A member of an old Do-Wop singing group from the 1950's now finds himself in his late 70's, retired and bored. After some wintery mishaps he convinces his wife and family to try living in a retirement community in the south where their other friends live. They agree to give it a try for one winter and become...The Snowbirds!

 

Each week the family wrestles with living in their new environment while getting into new hilarious predicaments. They meet a cast of characters only a toxic retirement community can have. The series pokes fun at retirement, senior centers, north vs south differences, stereotypes and family relationships.
